• The annual scheduling for our instructors, a step forward in family reconciliation

You know how much we like to be at the forefront of technology, and how hard we work to improve our training method.

Well, our new innovation is not about technology, but it is a breakthrough to directly improve the family and personal balance of our instructors.

We are proud to tell you that we’ve developed a pioneering measure in our sector: the annual scheduling of flights. We are aware that combining work and personal life has a direct impact on people’s wellbeing.

So, after several months of work, this March, we are launching our new annual scheduling, our contribution towards a company model that is more respectful and conciliatory with the family and personal life of our instructors.

This is a change that we hope will make it easier to plan days off, family events and other personal commitments with the peace of mind of knowing a year in advance the established schedule.

Goals of this work-life balance measure for our pilots

There are many benefits associated with this reconciliation measure, such as:

  • Facilitating adequate rest, a rich social life and better work performance.
  • Improving the company atmosphere.
  • Actively contributing to gender equality at work by facilitating the equal sharing of family responsibilities.
  • Maximise safety on board as a result of better personal planning.
  • Optimise operational efficiency and management of our resources and facilities.
  • Positively impact the quality of training.
  • Set a precedent and contribute to improving the standard of work in our industry.

We hope that this new approach to scheduling will mark a meaningful improvement in the development of our activity, as well as serve as an example to lead the way for future social transformations in pilot training.
