AIRBUS A320 TYPE RATING IN SPAIN

+ BASE TRAINING – PERFORM TOUCH-AND-GO LANDING MANOEUVRES ON AN Airbus A320.

Our students will be able to choose to get their Airbus A320 Type Rating + Base Training with one of our partner companies.

Base Training involves performing real touch-and-go landing manoeuvres on an Airbus A320 in order to complete the required training.

To enrol in the type rating course, all pilots must have: a Commercial Pilot Licence, ME+IR, MCC, a valid medical certificate, a certificate of having completed at least 70 flight hours as pilot-in-command, and they must have passed the airline transport pilot theory test (ATPL).

After complying with the above requirements, you will be able to begin training for your A320 rating.

A320 TYPE RATING:

Phase 1: Ground training

  • 40 hours of study with computer-based training (CBT) and manuals.
  • 68 hours of classes with type rating instructors (TRI): you will study aircraft systems, their limitations, the Airbus philosophy, procedures, performance, mass and balance, flight planning and technical exams.

Phase 2: Simulator Training

  • A320 Maintenance and Flight Training Device (MFTD)/Virtual Procedures Trainer (VPT) + Instructor:  36 hours (9 sessions)
  • Full Flight Simulator (with movement): 32 hours (8 sessions)
  • Full Flight Simulator (with movement): Exam / Licence Skill Test (LST): 4 hours (1 session)

BASIC AIRBUS A320 TRAINING:

This will be done after completing the type rating. REAL TOUCH-AND-GO LANDINGS will be performed on an AIRBUS A320 in order to complete the requirements.
