AIRBUS A320 TYPE RATING IN SPAIN

+ BASE TRAINING – IN ALLIANCE WITH GLOBAL TRAINING AVIATION

During the course of Airline Pilot Programme our students obtain an Airbus A320 type rating together with corresponding Base Training.

During the Base Training our students carry out a series of real touch-and-go in an Airbus A320 aircraft in order to complete their training.

To access the type rating course all pilots must be in possession of a Commercial Pilot Licence CPL, ME+IR, MCC, Valid Medical Certificate, Airline Transport Pilot Licence ATPL and have at least 70 hours as Pilot In Command PIC.

Once the above requirements are fulfilled the Airbus A320 type rating can be attained.

A320 TYPE RATING:

Phase 1: Ground Instruction

  • 40 Hours study using CBT and manuals.
  • 68 Hours of classes with TRI: Aircraft Systems, Limitations, Airbus Philosophy, Procedures, Performance, Mass and Balance, Flight Planning, Technical Examinations.

Phase 2: Simulator Training

  • A320 Trainer MFTD/VPT + Instructor:  36 hours (9 sessions)
  • Full Flight Simulator (with movement) Exam/LST: 4 hours (1 session)

BASE TRAINING A320:

Following the completion of the Airbus A320 Type Rating, a series of touch-and-go will be done in a real Airbus A320 in order to fulfil the course requirements
