The Tecnam P2006T MkII Premium Edition are twin-engine, four-seat, high-wing, retractable landing gear aircraft built by Italian manufacturer Tecnam (Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam).

Its aluminium alloy fuselage provides exceptional strength and durability without adding too much weight to the aircraft.

For this reason, the Tecnam P2006T has been chosen by NASA for its X-57 project and also by several Air Forces for pilot training.

The Tecnam P2006T is certified according to EASA CS-23 – FAR 23 requirements including VFR, NVFR and IFR.

Its exceptional aerodynamic design, together with the two Rotax 912S3 engines of 100 hp each, allows it to fly at cruise speeds of up to 150 knots.

And with a maximum range of 650 nm (around 1,200 kilometres), it is ideal for long-duration training.
