At One Air, an AESA approved training organisation (E-ATO 190), we offer you the opportunity to enjoy a unique experience.

Fly above the stunning coast of Malaga and feel the incredible sensation of freedom on board one of our state-of-the-art aircraft.

As a gift to another or to enjoy yourself, with our introductory flight you will be able to immerse yourself in aviation from the very first moment. Want to know what the experience is all about? Read on.

What does Introductory Flight consist of?

On our initiation flight, the fun will begin as soon as you step foot on the Aerodrome of La Axarquía, in Vélez-Málaga.

✓ A flight instructor will pick you up at the entrance of the aerodrome in our electric minibus and show you an overview of the facilities.

✓ You will cross the runway to the hangar area, where you will be able to see our maintenance team up close at work to ensure out fleet is always ready.

✓ Then, together with your instructor, you will be able to carry out a pre-flight aircraft check, as well as a briefing session in which you will learn the principles of flying.

✓ Now for the best bit! On board one of our Diamond DA20 C1 Eclipse, you will enjoy a 45-minute flight along the beautiful Malaga coastline where you will see, from a unique perspective, amazing places such as the Maro cliffs, the Viñuela lake or the ‘Montes de Malaga’ Natural Park.

✓ Back on the ground, you will receive a personalised certificate and a photograph as a souvenir of your first flight experience.

‘Pilot for a Day’ Course + Introductory Flight

Welcome to aviation, welcome to One Air.

And if you want to live a real One Air experience and know what its like to be a pilot for a day, you’ll love what we have for you.

On our ‘Pilot for a Day’ Course you’ll attend classes with an experienced instructor, enjoy our SIMLAB by OneAir, the largest simulator centre in a European ATO, and complete your training on board the spectacular advanced single-engine Diamond DA40 Glass Cockpit Garmin 1000.

What does the course consist of?

The ‘Pilot for a Day’ Course + Introductory Flight experience includes the following:

✓ You will attend classes at our main facilities in Malaga city, just a few minutes away from the airport. You will learn the basics of flying, as well as elementary notions of communications or meteorology, among others.

✓ After a previous briefing, you will enjoy a session in our FNPT II Alsim ALX simulator and another session in the Diamond/Cirrus simulators, where you can practice what you’ve learnt in class and familiarise yourself with the instruments that you will later find in the aircraft. To finish your simulator experience, you’ll have a 20-minute session in the Xwind crosswind simulator with real movement.

✓ Finally, you’ll be taken to the La Axarquía Aerodrome by our private transport. There you will enjoy the complete introductory flight experience, as described above, but in our advanced single-engine Diamond DA40 G1000 or Cirrus SR20 aircraft. A really unmissable.
