FLIGHTS INCREASE IN BARCELONA

NORWEGIAN airline will open new routes from BARCELONA

Beside France and the U.S.A., Spain is the country which receives the largest amount of tourists per year. Barcelona is among the Spanish cities receiving more tourists. Almost all foreign Airlines have routes to Barcelona, one of the most fashionable cities in the world and a key one for the opening of new commercial routes. That is the reason why flights from and to Barcelona are increasing.

Barcelona has established by its own means as one of the tourist destinations par excellence. Known internationally, this peninsular northeast city is one of the most visited cities in the world thanks to the increase of new commercial routes every year to any destination departing from Barcelona. Finding a job with a foreign airline based anywhere in the world will become easier with the large annual growth of flights that all the major airlines on the planet carry out. The latest example is the recent announced new routes of Norwegian, one of the most important northern European Airlines.

BARCELONA – LOS ÁNGELES

available on 5th June 2017.

BARCELONA – NEW YORK

available on 6th JUNE.

BARCELONA – OAKLAND – SAN FRANCISCO

available on 7th JUNE.

Completing a pilot course is having the chance to future selection processes that are expected to be announced at Norwegian due to their increasing importance in commercial air traffic. Norwegian, as it could not be otherwise, has announced that next year, just before the summer, will start new routes to Barcelona, thus increasing the already known tourism in the city. Flights will begin with a Barcelona – Los Angeles route on June 5, 2017, while on June 6 you will be able to enjoy Barcelona – New York, and the on June 7, Barcelona – Oakland (San Francisco).

These are just some of the next flights that Norwegian has just announced with Barcelona as the main focus. In fact, on August 22 Barcelona-Fort Lauderdale will also be opened, an airport located north of Miami which besides to this city it also serves the second great capital of the United States cruises. The frequency of these flights will be twice a week. Some of them will be three times a week in August, and four times a week in the case of Newark. The route to Florida will have two flights a week.

New challenges of the commercial aviation

All commercial pilots should be ready to face the challenges and demands which commercial aviation will face during the next months. In 2017, Barcelona will be operational base of two of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner owned by Norwegian, seating 291 people: 32 premium class seats and 259 economy class ones.
